By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – France's Agence France Trésor (AFT) on Thursday raised €12.991 billion through the sale of four medium-term OATs.

The agency sold €2.424 billion of the 2.40% September 2029 OAT, €2.864 billion of the 2.70% February 2031 OAT, €5.669 billion of the 3.25% February 2032 OAT and €2.034 billion of the 2.00% November 2032 OAT.

The February 2032 bond attracted the strongest demand in nominal terms, with bids totaling €12.56 billion, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.22. The bond was sold at a weighted average price of 96.75, corresponding to a weighted average rate of 3.92%.

The September 2029 OAT received €7.09 billion of bids, generating a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.93. The weighted average price was 96.65 and the weighted average rate was 3.59%.

The February 2031 OAT drew €7.81 billion of bids, producing a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.73. The weighted average price was 95.64, corresponding to a weighted average rate of 3.78%.

The November 2032 OAT received €5.05 billion of bids, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.48. The weighted average price was 89.17 and the weighted average rate was 4.01%.

Settlement was scheduled for September 21, 2026. The total amount issued may be increased through the non-competitive tender facility (NCT2), scheduled for September 18.
