By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – France's Agence France Trésor (AFT) on Monday allotted €6.989 billion across four Treasury bills (BTFs).
The 14-week BTF due December 9, 2026 was allotted for €2.895 billion from total bids of €10.743 billion. The weighted average accepted rate was 2.533%, while the marginal rate was 2.540%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.71.
The 25-week BTF due February 24, 2027 was allotted for €500 million from bids totaling €3.853 billion. The weighted average accepted rate and the marginal rate were both 2.655%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 7.71.
The 27-week BTF due March 10, 2027 attracted bids of €7.005 billion, of which €1.696 billion was allotted. The weighted average accepted rate was 2.697%, while the marginal rate was 2.700%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.13.
The 49-week BTF due August 11, 2027 was allotted for €1.898 billion from total bids of €7.805 billion. The weighted average accepted rate was 2.860%, while the marginal rate was 2.865%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.11.
Settlement for all four lines is scheduled for September 2, 2026.
AFT said the total amount issued may be increased through non-competitive bids to be held on September 1, 2026.
