By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Germany's Finance Agency (Finanzagentur) on Wednesday allotted a total of €1.882 billion across reopenings of two federal bonds (Bunds).
The 2.60% Bund due May 15, 2041 was allotted for €901.8 million from total bids of €1.845 billion. The weighted average accepted price was 89.81, corresponding to an average yield of 3.5%.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2. Of the €1 billion increase, the federal government retained €98.2 million for its own account, bringing the total outstanding volume to €26 billion.
The 1.25% Bund due August 15, 2048 was allotted for €979.75 million from total bids of €3.55 billion. The weighted average accepted price was 63.87, corresponding to an average yield of 3.68%.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.6. Of the €1 billion increase, the federal government retained €20.25 million for its own account, bringing the total outstanding volume to €43.5 billion.
The value date for both lines is August 28, 2026.
