By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The UK Debt Management Office (DMO) on Tuesday allotted £4 billion of the 4⅛% Treasury Gilt 2033.
Total bids amounted to £13.544 billion, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 3.39.
The rounded average accepted price was £96.464, corresponding to a yield of 4.761%. The auction tail was 0.2bp.
The DMO said an additional amount of up to £1 billion of the gilt will be made available to successful bidders for purchase at the non-competitive allotment price.
