By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Germany’s Finance Agency (Finanzagentur) on Tuesday allotted €3.828 billion of its reopened 2.70% Federal Treasury note (Schatz) due September 13, 2028.
Total bids amounted to €5.698 billion, comprising €3.03 billion in competitive bids and €2.668 billion in non-competitive bids, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.5.
The weighted average price was 99.696, corresponding to an average yield of 2.85%.
The federal government retained €1.172 billion for its own account.
The reopening increased the total outstanding volume of the Schatz to €17 billion, up from €12 billion previously.
The value date is August 27, 2026.
