By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Germany’s Finance Agency on Tuesday allotted €4.627 billion of a reopened five-year federal note (Bobl).
Total bids amounted to €6.834 billion, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.5.
The weighted average price of the 2.90% October 8, 2031 Bobl was 99.84%, while the average yield was 2.93%.
Of the €6 billion increase, the federal government retained €1.373 billion for its own account. Following the reopening, the total issue volume increased to €12 billion.
The value date is August 13, 2026.
