By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The Republic of Finland on Tuesday raised €1.449 billion through an auction of two government bonds.
The Treasury allotted €774 million of the 3.35% September 15, 2036 bond, attracting €979 million in bids, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.26. The accepted price was 98.550, corresponding to a yield of 3.523%. The outstanding amount of the bond increased to €5.64 billion after the auction.
The Treasury also allotted €675 million of the 0.50% April 15, 2043 bond. Total bids amounted to €935 million, for a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.39. The accepted price was 58.740, corresponding to a yield of 3.917%. The outstanding amount of the bond rose to €6.095 billion after the auction.
Settlement for both bonds was scheduled for August 13, 2026.
