By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Germany’s Federal Finance Agency (Finanzagentur) on Tuesday allotted €4.552 billion of its reopened 2.70% Federal Treasury note (Schatz) due September 13, 2028.
Bids totaled €6.247 billion, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.4.
The weighted average price was 99.827, corresponding to an average yield of 2.78%.
The federal government retained €1.448 billion for its own account.
The €6 billion reopening doubled the issue volume to €12 billion.
The value date is August 6, 2026.
