By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) on Wednesday sold €877.31 million of the 2% BTPei due February 15, 2037, in a supplementary auction, according to data released by the Bank of Italy.

The amount offered was €900 million.

No bids were received in the supplementary auctions of the 2.2% BTP due February 28, 2028, or the 0.5% BTP due July 15, 2028. An amount of €250 million was offered for each.

Settlement is scheduled for July 30, 2026.
