By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) on Wednesday sold €7.5 billion of six-month Treasury bills (BOTs), according to data released by the Bank of Italy.
The bills, maturing January 29, 2027, were sold at a weighted average price of 98.719 and a weighted-average simple yield of 2.567%, up 9bp from the previous auction held on June 25, 2026.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.43, with total bids amounting to €10.714 billion.
Settlement is scheduled for July 31, 2026.
