By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Austria's debt management agency, OeBFA, on Tuesday allotted a total of €2 billion of Austrian Treasury bills (ATBs) across two maturities.

The auction consisted of a €500 million issue maturing on October 29, 2026 and a €1.5 billion issue maturing on January 28, 2027.

Competitive bids for the October 2026 ATB totaled €974 million, producing a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.06. Of the total, €473 million was allotted to competitive bidders and €27 million to the Republic.

The bill was issued at a price of 99.409%, corresponding to an issue yield of 2.350%. Following the auction, the amount outstanding increased to €3 billion.

Competitive bids for the January 2027 ATB totaled €1.957 billion, producing a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.76. Of the total, €1.112 billion was allotted to competitive bidders and €388 million to the Republic.

The bill was issued at a price of 98.752%, corresponding to an issue yield of 2.500%. The amount outstanding after the auction was €1.5 billion.

Settlement for both lines is scheduled for July 30, 2026.
