By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The UK Debt Management Office (DMO) on Tuesday allotted £5 billion of the 4% Treasury Gilt 2029.
The highest accepted price was 98.797, corresponding to a yield of 4.455%, while the lowest accepted price was 98.768, corresponding to a yield of 4.466%.
Total bids amounted to £17.104 billion, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 3.42.
The auction tail was 0.3bp.
The DMO said that an additional amount of up to £1.250 billion of the gilt would be made available to successful bidders for purchase at the non-competitive allotment price.
