By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Germany’s Finance Agency (Finanzagentur) on Monday allotted €2.958 billion of two Treasury discount papers, or Bubills.
The agency allotted €1.4856 billion in a reopening of the Bubill maturing December 9, 2026, against total bids of €3.567 billion. The average price was 99.07301, the bid-to-cover ratio was 2.4 and the weighted average yield was 2.406%.
The reopening increased the issue volume to €9 billion from €7 billion. The federal government retained €514.4 million for its own account.
Finanzagentur also allotted €1.472 billion in a reopening of the Bubill maturing June 16, 2027, against total bids of €4.277 billion. The average price was 97.65986, the bid-to-cover ratio was 2.9 and the weighted average yield was 2.622%.
The reopening increased the issue volume to €5 billion from €3 billion. The federal government retained €528 million for its own account.
The value date for both lines is July 22, 2026.
