By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) on Friday allotted an additional €800 million of 12-month Treasury bills (BOTs) in a supplementary placement, according to data published by the Bank of Italy.

The placement followed Thursday’s €8 billion auction of the BOT, which matures July 14, 2027.

The additional bills attracted €1.761 billion in bids, bringing the outstanding amount of the issue to €8.8 billion.

Settlement was scheduled for July 14, 2026.
