By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The European Commission, on behalf of the European Union, on Wednesday allotted €4.061 billion of EU-Bills across three lines.
The Commission allotted €863 million of the EU-Bill maturing October 9, 2026 at a weighted-average yield of 2.343%. The highest accepted yield was 2.350%, the bid-to-cover ratio was 1.76, and the outstanding amount rose to €4.570 billion.
It also allotted €1.293 billion of the EU-Bill maturing January 8, 2027 at a weighted-average yield of 2.433%. The highest accepted yield was 2.450%, the bid-to-cover ratio was 1.24, and the outstanding amount rose to €3.972 billion.
Finally, the Commission allotted €1.905 billion of the EU-Bill maturing July 9, 2027 at a weighted-average yield of 2.557%. The highest accepted yield was 2.570%, with 54.72% of bids at that yield accepted, while the bid-to-cover ratio was 1.28 and the outstanding amount rose to €1.905 billion.
Settlement for all three lines was scheduled for July 3, 2026.
