By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The German state of Saxony-Anhalt on Monday priced a €100 million two-year blockchain-based digital state treasury note (Landesschatzanweisung), its debut issue of this kind.
The note was issued under Germany’s Electronic Securities Act (eWpG), matures on June 29, 2028 and carries a fixed annual coupon of 2.625%.
The reoffer spread was set at 2bp over mid-swaps, with a reoffer price of 99.775 and a yield of 2.742%.
The note was priced at 21.5bp over the June 2028 German Federal Treasury note benchmark.
Settlement is scheduled for June 29, 2026.
Saxony-Anhalt is rated Aa1 by Moody’s and AAA by Fitch and Scope.
