By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The German Finance Agency (Finanzagentur) on Tuesday allotted €3.807 billion in a reopening of two-year federal Treasury notes (Schatz).

Total bids for the 2.50% Schatz due June 14, 2028 amounted to €7.356 billion, including €4.983 billion in competitive bids and €2.373 billion in non-competitive bids.

The agency allotted €3.807 billion and retained €1.193 billion for its own account.

The lowest accepted price was 99.855%, while the weighted average price was 99.856%, resulting in an average yield of 2.57%.

Bids submitted at the lowest accepted price were allotted in full, while non-competitive bids had a 90% allotment rate. The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.9.

Following the reopening, the outstanding volume of the June 2028 Schatz increased to €22 billion from €17 billion previously.

The value date is June 25, 2026.
