By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The Spanish Treasury on Tuesday allotted €6.482 billion of six- and 12-month Treasury Bills (Letras del Tesoro) in an auction.

Total bids amounted to €12.297 billion.

The Treasury sold €1.982 billion of six-month Letras maturing December 4, 2026, and €4.500 billion of 12-month Letras maturing June 4, 2027.

Demand totaled €4.622 billion for the six-month bill and €7.675 billion for the 12-month bill, corresponding to cover ratios of 2.33 and 1.71, respectively.

The six-month Letras were allotted at a stop-out rate of 2.398% and a weighted average price of 98.813.

The 12-month Letras were allotted at a stop-out rate of 2.567% and a weighted average price of 97.494.

Settlement for both lines was scheduled for June 5, 2026.
