By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The UK Debt Management Office (DMO) sold £1 billion of the 0⅜% Treasury Gilt 2030 via tender on Thursday.

Total bids amounted to £4.187 billion, resulting in a cover ratio of 4.19. The lowest accepted price was £84.489, equivalent to a yield of 4.281%, while the average accepted price was £84.502. The tail was 0.4bp and the average accepted yield 4.277%.

Following the operation, the nominal amount outstanding of the gilt will rise to £42.317 billion from May 29, 2026.
