By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) on Friday announced plans to auction up to €7.5 billion of a new six-month Treasury bill (BOT) with cut-off on May 27, 2026.
The BOT, maturing November 30, 2026, will be issued in a first tranche.
MEF also announced a supplementary auction of up to €750 million reserved for specialists.
Settlement was scheduled for May 29, 2026.
