By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) allotted an additional €1 billion of Treasury bills (BOTs) on Wednesday through supplementary auctions reserved for specialist dealers, according to results published by the Bank of Italy.

The operations concerned two 12-month BOT lines. MEF allotted €850 million of a BOT maturing May 14, 2027 against €1.19 billion in demand, bringing the outstanding volume of the line to €9.35 billion.

It also allotted €150 million of a BOT maturing July 14, 2026 compared to €482.6 million in demand, increasing its outstanding volume to €9.15 billion.
