By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Belgium plans to launch a new syndicated euro benchmark bond maturing August 22, 2031, the Belgian Debt Agency (BDA) said on Monday, citing an announcement by Finance Minister Jan Jambon.
The new bond, OLO 108, will be issued “in the near future, subject to market conditions,” Jambon said in a statement.
BNP Paribas Fortis, Citi, NatWest, Nomura and Société Générale have been mandated as joint bookrunners for the transaction. All other primary dealers will be invited to join the syndicate group.
The Belgian Debt Agency also said the scheduled OLO auction on May 25, 2026 would be maintained, although with a limited size.
