19 September 2025

By David Barwick – FRANKFURT (Econostream) – European Central Bank Governing Council member Madis Müller on Friday said that the ECB did not currently need to ease further.
In remarks to Bloomberg, Müller, who heads Eesti Pank, said, “For the time being, with interest rates mildly supportive of growth and inflation where we want it to be, I don’t think we need to do more.”
“Growth will be domestic demand-driven in the near future,” the agency quoted him as saying.
