By Marta Vilar – MADRID (Econostream) – European Central Bank Governing Council member Robert Holzmann said on Friday that interest rates were now in accommodative territory.

At a press conference in Vienna, Holzmann, who heads the Austrian National Bank, said that despite ECB President Christine Lagarde’s assertion about reaching the end of the cycle, he would like to discuss if that was really the case.

The nominal neutral rate was currently around 3%, according to Holzmann.
