By David Barwick – FRANKFURT (Econostream) – The European Central Bank Governing Council should have no problem coming to a decision next week to cut rates by 25bp, ECB Governing Council member Boris Vujčić said Wednesday.

In an interview with Politico, Vujčić, who heads the Croatian National Bank, said, ‘I don’t think that it will be such a difficult decision in December.’

‘I saw the Governing Council being on the same page and I don't really believe that it will be much different in the coming meetings’, he said.

Vujčić left no doubt about his own preference, stating: ‘When the road is slippery, you take small steps and this is what we are doing.’
