By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – The UK Debt Management Office (DMO) said on Friday it will reopen its 1¾% Index-Linked Treasury Gilt 2038 through a syndicated sale in the week beginning July 13, 2026.

The DMO said this will be the third transaction of its 2026-27 syndication program and that further details will be announced later.

Overall, it plans to raise around £42 billion via syndications during the fiscal year, including about £20 billion in medium conventional gilts, roughly £15 billion in long conventional gilts and approximately £7 billion in index-linked bonds.

The DMO already completed two conventional gilt syndications for the 2026-2027 fiscal year: a £15 billion sale of the 4⅞% Treasury Gilt 2036 in April and a £9 billion sale of the 5¼% Treasury Gilt 2041 in June.
