By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Agence France Trésor (AFT) announced on Friday plans to auction between €6.5 billion and €8.1 billion of short-term Treasury bills (BTFs) on May 26.
The offering will include an 11-week BTF maturing August 12, 2026, with an indicative issuance range of €200 million to €600 million, and a 14-week BTF maturing September 2, 2026, with a target range of €2.9 billion to €3.3 billion.
AFT will also auction a 25-week BTF maturing November 18, 2026, in an amount ranging from €1.8 billion to €2.2 billion, alongside a 51-week BTF maturing May 20, 2027, with an indicative volume of €1.6 billion to €2.0 billion.
Settlement for all four lines was scheduled for May 28, 2026.
